How people can become mediators and help others work through conflict

The core of CDRC conflict resolution instruction involves effective communication,
personal conflict management skills and deep listening.   CDRC periodically offers mediator
trainings
throughout the three counties we serve.  These intensive, interactive mediator
trainings build personal and professional skills in communication,
reflection,
and conflict resolution - and they prepare participants to
mediate
cases as a CDRC volunteer mediator.  


Learning to mediate is often described as a transformative experience. Mediators
well understand that there is nothing more empowering than the
ability
to empower others.  


CDRC mediator training equips people with the tools to help others in conflict
