KID TALK / TEEN TALK WORKSHOP SERIES

Kid Talk / Teen Talk is a series of eight fun, interactive and educational workshops where participants learn constructive ways to manage and respond to conflict. 

Topics include:

  •     Understanding and Responding to Conflict
  •      Dealing with Differences
  •     Identifying Feelings & Emotions
  •     Dealing with Anger
  •     Listening
  •     Expressing Thoughts & Feelings
  •     Coming Up with Solutions

CONFLICT MANAGERS / PEER MEDIATION TRAININGS & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT SUPPLEMENT

A complete multi-day conflict theory education and mediation skills training offered to both Elementary School students (Conflict Managers Training) and  Middle / High School students (Peer Mediation Training).

The Basic Training includes a 15 hour interactive training followed by a series of 3 skill refresher sessions through-out the year.

The Program Development Supplement includes an additional 20 hours of Program Development and Implementation Support.  This includes but is not limited to:

  •      Staff, School Assembly and Parent Group presentations
  •      Teacher Orientation Sessions
  •      Awareness Campaign
  •      Student Volunteer Recruitment
  •      Case Management Protocols
