MEDIATION TRAININGS

Basic Transformative Mediation Training; “Diminishing the Cost of Conflict”
This highly interactive three-day professional development training presents and works with the Transformative theory and practice of Conflict and Conflict Resolution from a third party perspective (ie. the mediator).  The premises of Transformative Mediation are based on a relational world-view of human competence and moral motivation that supports respectful and productive interactions.  This Conflict Resolution training addresses how we view conflict, people-in-conflict, and the important role we can play in supporting empowerment, recognition, and conflict transformation.  A follow up co-mediation session with the trainer is included (though not required) for all participants to facilitate the “translation” of the training into their particular contexts.
