Parenting Plan

CDRC works closely with Family Court to help separated or divorced parents and caregivers develop plans for parenting their children; this often involves talking through custody and parenting time arrangements, among other things 


Small Claims Court

CDRC works closely with Ithaca and Elmira City Courts to help claimants and defendants sit down and talk about their particular case whether it be a mediation in the office before their court date or an in-court mediator at the courthouse on the day of their appearance.  Small Claims court mediation has helped resolve problems including:
  • Loan or debt disputes
  • Neighbor disputes (noise, animal, etc.)
  • Landlord/tenant disputes
  • Property disputes
  • Breach of contracts

Wise Talk

​Wise Talk is our elder mediation program which helps people address the many challenging issues particular to elders, their families and their care-partners.

Agricultural Mediation

Agricultural mediation has helped resolve problems of all sizes for farms of all sizes, including:​

Family Talk

Teens and parents / caregivers use mediation to talk through various difficulties that can come as children change and grow. Topics include school, social life, behavior and whatever it is the family needs to discuss.
